The Bede’s Foundation provides transformational Sixth Form scholarships to young people who have experienced significant adversity. These scholarships extend beyond education, ensuring recipients have access to the resources and pastoral care they need to thrive.

A Message from the Bede’s Foundation
Charlotte Sutton, Director of the Foundation, shared the following message of gratitude:
“Holroyd Howe has supported the Bede’s Development Foundation from its inception. Our Foundation supports local young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing 110% Sixth Form Foundation Scholarships. Everyone talks about the heart of the home being the kitchen, well we think that in our school this is no different. Our partnership with Holyroyd Howe has meant that they have supported our Foundation from its launch event to our Giving Day, our Supper of Celebration marking the halfway point towards our target and pretty much every other milestone big or small along the way. The staff who work as part of our catering team are as much a part of Bede’s as they are Holroyd Howe, it is more than a partnership, we are one community and believe in the same vision: working hard to bring about a festival of opportunities to pupils no matter their background. I am personally grateful for the support which Holroyd Howe has given our Foundation, and I am particularly thankful to the team who work at Bede’s, who day in and day out go above and beyond. It is wonderful to think that through this partnership we are increasing access and working to transform young lives.”
