New Catering Service at The King’s School Macclesfield

A modern, single-story building with large glass windows and a flat roof.

Holroyd Howe are proud to launch the new catering service at The King’s School Macclesfield.

In July 2020The King’s School relocated to a stunning new £60-million campus, set within an impressive 80-acre rural site nestled between Macclesfield and Over Alderley. This state-of-the-art development marks a significant milestone in the school’s long and distinguished history. Designed to support the evolving needs of modern education, the new campus offers outstanding facilities for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, who are now taught co-educationally from September 2020.

The new site reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and community, and has been thoughtfully designed to support learning, sport, the arts, and personal development within a beautiful and expansive natural setting.

Holroyd Howe has been proud to partner with The King’s School since 2018, working closely with the leadership team to help shape the school’s food offering and support the transition to the new campus. From the early stages of planning through to the final launch, our catering team has been fully engaged in ensuring that the dining experience is both welcoming and of the highest quality.

At the heart of this new campus lies a vibrant dining room and kitchen, purpose-built to bring food and community together. We’re delighted that the dining space sits at the physical and cultural centre of the school—a place not just to eat, but to connect, recharge, and enjoy.
Nick Howe, Founder of Holroyd Howe, commented:

“Congratulations to all of the school’s team for delivering such a magnificent new school, and to our catering team for their contribution to a safe and successful launch of the new catering service.”

We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting the school’s vision for an exceptional all-round educational experience.
