Holroyd Howe Win the Catering Contract at Blackheath Prep

We are delighted to announce that from April 2021 we will begin our new partnership with Blackheath Prep.

Blackheath Prep is a happy and thriving independent prep school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11, located in an idyllic setting on the edge of the heath, close to the heart of Blackheath Village in South East London. The school is well known for its nurturing atmosphere, strong community spirit, and commitment to providing a broad and balanced education that supports every child’s development and curiosity.

We are delighted to begin a new partnership with Blackheath Prep, working closely with the school to enhance the dining experience for all pupils. This collaboration will focus on introducing bespoke menus that are thoughtfully designed to reflect the school’s values and meet the nutritional needs of young learners. The menus will incorporate fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients, ensuring that every meal is both delicious and nourishing. Our talented catering team will be preparing a range of exciting new dishes, while still including the pupils’ much-loved favourites.

Beyond the food itself, we are also supporting the school in delivering a wider programme of food education. This includes raising awareness around healthy eating, sustainability, and food provenance through interactive activities, themed days, and age-appropriate educational materials. A particularly exciting aspect of our partnership involves helping to introduce a kitchen garden within the school’s newly developed on-site allotments—a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn where food comes from and get involved in growing ingredients themselves.
